Our Licensed Massage Therapists are ready to mushify muscles and stifle stiffness with mega melting massages of every kind. From the Deep Relaxation Massage to the tootsie love of Reflexology, your kinks, cricks and knots will disolve as every inch of your supple self cries out a collective "aahhhh".

Deep Relaxation Massage (60 min / $80)

Charleston Medical Spa's Deep Relaxation Massage offers a harmonic convergence of the senses.  The music you hear and the massage strokes you feel will rhythmically flow together, in concert, and transport you to a place where your cares and worries dissolve away. 

Your session will be a custom blend of massage modalities with varying levels of pressure, tailored to ease your specific aches and pains.  It will incorporate a measured approach to deep tissue massage, along with techniques that have a lighter touch:  Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, and gentle stretching.  The goal is to work through the layers of tissue, slowly and painlessly, so that you emerge from the session relaxed and rejuvenated. 

Aromatherapy Enhancement ($10)

You can choose to enhance and extend your experience with aromatherapy.  Before your massage, visit the scent bar and choose one of nine essential oil blends that will be lightly diffused in your room and mixed with your massage creme. Some are calming.  Some are soothing.  Some are uplifting.  You'll find one that's perfect for your mood.  At the end of the treatment, take any unused creme home to relive your spa experience. 

High Intensity Enhancement ($20)

For  those who like a more intense massage experience, deeper pressure can be applied throughout the session, or focused on areas that are especially tense or tight. 

Amethyst Massage (60 min / $120)

Modern technology enhances the ancient healing power of crystals during the Amethyst Massage.  Enjoy therapeutic bodywork while resting on the Amethyst BioMat, a FDA licensed medical device that generates far infared lightwaves & negative ions that are conducted through a bed of amethyst crystals.  Because this natural healing energy is compatible with your body's own energy field, it can help ease pain, reduce stress & fatigue, increase blood circulation, lessen joint pain & stiffness, and boost your immune system.  We are the only local medical spa offering this unique treatment that balances your physical, mental, and emotional energies. 

Computer Recovery Massage (45 min / $75)

You know how it happens.  You sit at your computer.  Suddenly, four hours have passed and you haven't gotten up once.  And then you start to feel it.  The aching back.  Knots in your shoulders.  A stiff neck. 

The Computer Recovery Massage targets the muscles affected by seated immobility and less than perfect posture with focused, deep tissue techniques.  And the session is quick- only 45 minutes - so that you can receive treatment during your lunch hour or while you're "at a meeting."  After one session you'll be standing taller, with shoulders back.  As an added bonus, you'll leave with ergonomic tips and simple exercises to help you stay that way. 

Warm Wrap Massage (60 min / $90)

Time will stand still as the Warm Wrap Massage nurtures your body and quiets your mind.  At the beginning of your session, velvet wraps filled with grains, cinnamon, cloves, and eucalyptus are applied to key muscle groups.They envelop your body in healing warmth, while their exquisite aromas soothe your senses.  As your tension melts, the gentle pressure of each wrap gives way to rhythmic massage strokes that push you even deeper into a relaxed state. 

River Rock Massage (60 min / $90)

Smooth stones, polished and perfected by nature, are heated and used throughout the River Rock Massage to soothe tense muscles, improve circulation, and calm the senses.  The stones' penetrating heat allows for a nuturing hour of deep relaxation. 

Sensory Overload Massage (50 min / $150)

Experience the bliss of Sensory Overload as two expert therapists artfully massage you at once from head to toe.  Four hands are better than two and the provide twice the relaxation.  Treat yourself to this uniquely pampering service and enjoy a profound sense of well-being. 

Sense-Sational Feet (30 min / $50)

This timeless Eastern practice of reflexology works specific pressure points on the feet to re-establish the flow of energy throughout the body and stimulate the healthy functioning of internal organs.  Experience the benefits of a foot reflexology massage that includes a soothing peppermint scrub, lower leg massage, and placement of warm stones between each toe (this feels amazing!).  It's a luxurious and invigorating spa experience for your feet. 

Reiki (60 min / $60)

Reiki balances the "life force energy" flowing through and around us.  If this energy is depleted or congested, we are more prone to illness and more sensitive to stress.  Conversely, abundant and free flowing energy facilitates a healthy body and positive sense of well-being.  Reiki also works well in conjunction with other medical and therapeutic treatments to lessen side effects and enhance recovery.  Experience this gentle, yet profound therapy that reduces stress and promotes relaxation and healing.
